I suppose when you don't mind standing a deep snow, along a river's edge, risking falling into freezing cold water, all for the thrill of the cast and the hope of a bite.

Great picture; but how cold it makes me feel. I shiver now at about 26 Celcius. lol
If you have to put on snow boots to get to the river it's addiction....
But not all addictions are bad??
Fishing can never be considered an addiction...
it's MUCH more important than that!
